A Few of Our Favorite Things...

Every time the holidays roll around, all those great present ideas we thought of throughout the year immediately leave our heads. Instead we're left clambering for suitable gift ideas (because no one wants to give a bad gift!) Today we're sharing a few of our favorite things. There's a range of audiences, price points and ideas, so there should be a little something for everyone. Happy gift giving...

LE LABO Santal 26 Candle, $75

This is the Cadillac of all candles. The smoky, leathery scent it gives off is earthy and masculine, making it perfect for winter. If you've ever wandered into the Gramercy Park Hotel in New York, you'll recognize the smell right away. It's where I first fell in love with LE LABO. Confession: I put it on not one, but two of my Christmas lists in hopes of getting more than one. Even if you have too many, you'll still feel forced to save it for special occasions. It smells that good. Buy it here.

Tiny Bones Press Stationary, $22.50

The simplicity of the designs used by Tiny Bones Press Stationary are what keep us coming back for more. Their all occasion cards can be a great stocking stuffer, or perfect for holiday greetings. The crossed bows in the native collection mean journey of life--that's pretty fitting as we go into a brand new year! Buy them here.

Opie Pants, $38

If there is a baby in your life, they must have these functional and ridiculously cute little pants. Available in five different colorways, these soft pants come with a grippy material on the knees to aid crawlers and extend the life of the pants. Bonus, they'll have any baby immediately looking like they are straight out of Brooklyn (mini TOMS and gourmet coffee sold separately!). Buy them here.

DwellStudio Crosshatch Cone Decanter, $149

Every well designed bar needs a few good accessories, and this decanter stores your favorite liquor and looks good doing it. The atypical shape will stand out from the other items on the bar like generic wine and liquor bottles, and shakers. Buy it here.

Canvas Home Dauville Bowl in Gold, $23

These small bowls are multi-purpose and a great addition to any home or apartment. Use them as a pinch bowl for salt, to hold jewelry on a nightstand or to serve fruit garnishes on a bar. Their handmade nature makes them perfectly imperfect. The collection has multiple sized bowls and other pieces such as small platters that can be paired together for an excellent gift. Buy them here.

Schoolhouse Electric Ash + Leather Serving Board, $78

People often buy themselves the simple cutting board or a functional serving platter, but a refined wooden serving board is a unique way to serve when entertaining. A leather strap is a great touch and gives it a bit of a masculine feel without being too rustic. Hang it on a wall, use it as a tray or show it off your best cheese spread--this board will get good use in any home. Buy it here.
