We’re excited to finally share this new build with you. It kind of flew under the radar as the Jupiter Bungalow consumed a fair amount of social media time this past spring, but we’ve been working on this one for most of 2019. We worked with our favorite contractor, Lakeview Builders, and the finished product is as good as you would imagine it to be.

After nearly 15 months, we’re so excited to finally share the finished Jupiter Bungalow. This project started out as a very outdated, dark and drab canvas, with particularly low ceilings. Our goal was to make it bright and more modern, as well as open up the space to accommodate big family gatherings. One of the biggest changes in the home was taking the main house ceiling from 8’ to 10’. You can see the enormous difference in the before and after pictures.

You'll be happy to know that the dining room dilemma has been solved. We're just waiting for a table delivery (ok...and a sideboard that I'm now dying to buy!), and that room will finally be pulled together.
As the dining room dilemma winds down, we're tackling one of the final living room challenges. The ottoman. When we got our new rug, we changed up the layout which has opened it up tremendously. The only problem with that now have is that our existing truck is too small for the space. When it's centered, it reaches neither the sofa or the chairs on the opposite wall.

We were on site down at the Jupiter Bungalow earlier this week, and are excited about things finally coming together. Most of the tile has arrived, the garage is full of lights and plumbing fixtures and everything is starting to take form! So it only makes sense to finally give you a peek into the designs that we put together for some of the rooms. We finalized all three bathrooms, so today we’re sharing those with you here today.

We're full steam ahead on the Jupiter Bungalow, and so today I'm sharing the concept and inspiration for this complete redesign. And by redesign, I mean complete and utter gut. We went so far as to take the roof off the main part of the house, raise the ceiling by 2 feet and completely reconfigure the front and back walls.
